RR. Spink & Sons was (until recently) an under-utilised smoked fish label owned by Dawnfresh Seafoods. With Uncommon's help it was re-invented and launched in 2013 as an award-winning premium, sustainable Scottish fish brand. The range of smoked trout and salmon products have met with a very favourable response from trade and consumers, with some of the initial product range winning Great Taste awards in 2014. Uncommon's involvement was from the outset, in creating and defining the new brand, strategy, product development, packaging design, project management, communications and marketing for both trade and consumer - including sales support materials, presentations, website, internal communications, advertising and copywriting.

Land Securities is the largest commercial property company in the UK and a member of the FTSE 100. Founded in 1944, the company owns and manages more than 29 million sq ft of property, from shopping centres to London offices.


Uncommon was retained for the opening of the new retail development in the Buchanan Quarter, at the top of Glasgow's busy Buchanan Street, in March 2013 - a development which revitalised a substantial area in the busiest shopping location outside of London, and has effectively redrawn the Glasgow city centre map for retail and leisure. Services included strategy, planning (advertising, events and communications), website and copywriting for the successful launch.

Princes Square is Glasgow’s leading speciality shopping centre, with a mix of High Street and high end fashion, jewellery, gifts and homewares, bars, restaurants and cafes.  Services included a contract for marketing manager cover, launch of the new website and other digital marketing, amongst others.
